Crock Pot Cheeseburger French Fries with Special Sauce

Crock Pot Cheeseburger French Fries with Special Sauce

Ingredients:

For the Fries:

1 bag (about 20 oz) frozen French fries (or homemade fries)

1 lb ground beef

1 small onion, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp ketchup

1 tbsp mustard

Salt and pepper to taste

1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

For the Special Sauce:

1/4 cup mayonnaise

2 tbsp ketchup

1 tbsp yellow mustard

1 tbsp pickle relish

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

---

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Ground Beef:

In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.

Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet with the beef. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the onions are softened.

Stir in ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat.

2. Layer in the Crock Pot:

Spray the crock pot with non-stick spray or lightly grease it.

Layer the frozen French fries at the bottom of the crock pot.

Top with the cooked ground beef mixture. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.

3. Cook:

Cover the crock pot and cook on high for 2-3 hours or low for 4-5 hours, until the fries are crispy and the cheese is melted.

4. Make the Special Sauce:

While the fries are cooking, whisk together all the special sauce ingredients in a small bowl until smooth. Adjust salt and pepper to taste.

5. Serve:

Once the fries are ready, drizzle the special sauce over the top or serve it on the side for dipping. Optionally, garnish with chopped pickles or green onions for extra flavor.
