Mini Philly Cheesesteak Meatloaves

 Mini Philly Cheesesteak Meatloaves

Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef (or ground turkey for a lighter version)

1/2 cup bread crumbs (preferably panko)

1 egg

1/2 cup milk

1 small onion, finely chopped

1/2 bell pepper, finely chopped (green or red)

1 cup provolone cheese or mozzarella cheese, shredded

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tbsp olive oil (for sautéing)

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tbsp Italian seasoning (optional)

1/4 cup mayonnaise (optional, for creamy topping)

---

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Vegetables:

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onions and bell peppers, sautéing until softened (about 5 minutes). Remove from heat and set aside to cool slightly.

2. Make the Meatloaf Mixture:

In a large bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, milk, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.

Add the sautéed onions and bell peppers to the mixture, then stir in 1/2 cup of shredded cheese. Mix everything together until well combined.

3. Shape the Meatloaves:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Lightly grease a muffin tin or line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Divide the meat mixture evenly and form mini meatloaves, placing each one into the muffin tin or on the baking sheet.

4. Bake:

Bake the mini meatloaves in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until they are cooked through and browned on top.

5. Add the Cheese:

In the last 5 minutes of baking, sprinkle the remaining cheese (1/2 cup) over each mini meatloaf and return to the oven until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

6. Serve:

Optionally, serve with a drizzle of mayonnaise on top for a creamy finish. Enjoy these mini Philly cheesesteak meatloaves with a side of fries, salad, or your favorite veggies!
