recipe goulash

 Yields: 6 servings

Prep time: 20 minutes

Cook time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:

 * 1 tablespoon olive oil

 * 1 onion, chopped

 * 2 cloves garlic, minced

 * 1 pound ground beef

 * 1 (15-ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained

 * 1 (15-ounce) can tomato sauce

 * 1 cup beef broth

 * 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

 * 1 teaspoon dried oregano

 * 1/2 teaspoon salt

 * 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

 * 1 cup elbow macaroni

Instructions:

 * Heat olive oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat. Add onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute more.

 * Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon. Drain off any excess grease.

 * Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, oregano, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.

 * Add macaroni and cook, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender, about 15-20 minutes.

 * Serve hot.

Tips:

 * For a spicier goulash, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.

 * You can also add other vegetables to the goulash, such as bell peppers, carrots, or celery.

 * If you want a thicker goulash, you can stir in a tablespoon of cornstarch mixed with a tablespoon of water.

 * Goulash is a great dish to make ahead of time. It can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Enjoy!
