Mooli Paratha

Mooli Paratha, also known as Radish Paratha, is a flavorful and healthy Indian flatbread. It's a delicious way to incorporate the pungent and slightly spicy flavor of radish into your meals.

Here's a recipe for Mooli Paratha:

Ingredients:

 * 1 cup whole wheat flour (atta)

 * 1/2 cup grated radish (mooli)

 * 1/4 teaspoon red chili powder

 * 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder

 * 1/4 teaspoon cumin seeds

 * 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder

 * Salt to taste

 * 1 tablespoon oil

 * Water to knead the dough

Instructions:

 * Prepare the Dough: In a large bowl, combine whole wheat flour, salt, and oil. Gradually add water and knead into a soft and pliable dough. Cover and let it rest for at least 30 minutes.

 * Mix the Radish Filling: In a separate bowl, combine grated radish, red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin seeds, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well.

 * Make the Parathas: Divide the dough into equal portions. Roll out each portion into a thin circle.

 * Add Filling: Place a spoonful of the radish mixture in the center of each circle.

 * Seal and Roll: Bring the edges of the dough together to enclose the filling. Gently roll out the paratha into a slightly thicker circle.

 * Cook the Parathas: Heat a tawa or griddle over medium heat. Cook the parathas on both sides, applying a little oil or ghee to each side, until golden brown and cooked through.

 * Serve Hot: Serve Mooli Parathas hot with butter, ghee, pickle, or yogurt.

Tips:

 * You can add chopped green chilies or ginger to the radish filling for extra flavor.

 * If the dough is too dry, add a little more water. If it's too sticky, add a little more flour.

 * For a crispier paratha, cook it on high heat.

Enjoy your delicious and healthy Mooli Parathas!
