Yields: 4 servings
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 10-15 minutes
Ingredients:
* 1 (16-ounce) loaf French bread
* 1/4 cup butter, softened
* 2 cloves garlic, minced
* 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
* 1 teaspoon dried parsley
* 1/4 teaspoon salt
* 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions:
* Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
* Make garlic butter: In a small bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
* Slice the bread: Slice the French bread in half lengthwise.
* Spread garlic butter: Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over both cut sides of the bread.
* Bake: Place the bread, cut side up, on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and the butter is melted and bubbly.
* Slice and serve: Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
Tips:
* For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the garlic butter.
* You can also use Italian bread or a baguette for this recipe.
* If you don't have fresh parsley, you can use 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley.
* For a cheesier garlic bread, sprinkle additional Parmesan cheese on top before baking.
* Serve hot with your favorite pasta dishes, soups, or salads.
Enjoy!
