Pan Fried Paneer Recipe

 


Yields: 4 servings

Prep time: 15 minutes

Cook time: 15-20 minutes

Ingredients:

 * 250g paneer, cut into 1-inch cubes

 * 2 tablespoons olive oil

 * 1 teaspoon cumin seeds

 * 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder

 * 1/4 teaspoon red chili powder

 * 1/4 teaspoon garam masala

 * 1/4 teaspoon salt, or to taste

 * Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions:

 * Heat the oil: Heat the olive oil in a pan or skillet over medium heat.

 * Add cumin seeds: Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle.

 * Add paneer: Add the paneer cubes to the pan and cook, turning occasionally, for 5-7 minutes, or until they are golden brown and slightly crisp on all sides.

 * Add spices: Sprinkle turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt over the paneer. Mix well to coat.

 * Cook further: Cook for another 2-3 minutes, or until the spices are fragrant.

 * Garnish: Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.

Tips:

 * Marinate (optional): For extra flavor, marinate the paneer cubes in a mixture of yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, and spices for 30 minutes before frying.

 * Add Veggies: You can add chopped onions, bell peppers, or other vegetables to the pan along with the paneer.

 * Spice it Up: Adjust the amount of red chili powder according to your preference.

 * Serve with: Enjoy this delicious paneer with roti, paratha, rice, or as a side dish.
