Ingredients:
* 2 cups water
* 1-inch piece fresh ginger, peeled and finely chopped or grated
* 2 teaspoons black tea leaves (or 2 tea bags)
* 1 cup milk
* 2 tablespoons sugar (or to taste)
* Pinch of cardamom pods (optional)
* Pinch of cinnamon stick (optional)
Instructions:
* Boil Water: In a saucepan, bring water to a boil.
* Add Ginger: Add the chopped or grated ginger to the boiling water.
* Simmer: Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes to infuse the ginger flavor.
* Add Tea: Add the black tea leaves (or tea bags) and cardamom pods (if using) to the saucepan. Simmer for another 5 minutes.
