Instructions:
1. Cook the Beef:
Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Add minced garlic and chopped onion; sauté until fragrant and softened (2-3 minutes).
Add ground beef, breaking it up with a spatula. Cook until browned and fully cooked (about 5-7 minutes). Drain excess fat if necessary.
2. Make the Sauce:
In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, Gochujang (or Sriracha), ginger, and rice vinegar. Adjust sweetness and spice to your liking.
3. Combine:
Pour the sauce into the skillet with the cooked beef. Stir to coat evenly and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until the flavors meld. Sprinkle sesame seeds over the top, if using.
4. Assemble Wraps:
Place a spoonful of the beef mixture onto a lettuce leaf.
Top with optional toppings like shredded carrots, cucumber slices, green onions, or kimchi for extra flavor and crunch.
5. Serve:
Arrange the lettuce leaves and beef mixture on a platter. Let everyone assemble their wraps for a fun and interactive meal.
