Garlic Broccoli recipe

Garlic Broccoli is a quick, healthy, and flavorful side dish that pairs well with almost any meal. Here's an easy recipe to prepare it:

---

Ingredients

500 grams broccoli florets

4–5 garlic cloves, thinly sliced or minced

2 tbsp olive oil or butter

1 tsp soy sauce (optional)

Salt to taste

Black pepper or chili flakes (optional)

---

Instructions

1. Prepare the Broccoli:

Rinse the broccoli florets and pat dry.

Optionally, blanch the broccoli by boiling it in salted water for 2 minutes and transferring it to ice water to maintain its bright green color. Drain well.

2. Heat the Oil:

In a large skillet or wok, heat olive oil or butter over medium heat.

3. Sauté the Garlic:

Add the sliced or minced garlic to the pan and sauté until golden and fragrant (about 30 seconds). Be careful not to burn the garlic.

4. Cook the Broccoli:

Add the broccoli florets to the pan and toss to coat them in the garlic oil.

If you like, drizzle soy sauce over the broccoli for an extra savory flavor.

5. Season and Cook:

Add salt to taste and a pinch of black pepper or chili flakes if desired.

Cook for 4–5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the broccoli is tender-crisp.

6. Serve:

Remove from heat and serve hot as a side dish or as a topping for rice or noodles.
