Banana bread recipe

 Here’s a simple and delicious banana bread recipe:


Ingredients:


3 ripe bananas (mashed)


1/3 cup melted butter


3/4 cup sugar (adjust to taste)


1 large egg (beaten)


1 teaspoon vanilla extract


1 teaspoon baking soda


Pinch of salt


1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour



Optional Add-ins:


1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans


1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions:


1. Preheat oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.



2. Mash bananas: In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.



3. Mix wet ingredients: Stir in the melted butter, sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract.



4. Add dry ingredients: Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the mixture. Then add the flour and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.



5. Fold in add-ins (optional): Gently fold in nuts, chocolate chips, or any other add-ins if desired.



6. Pour batter into pan: Transfer the batter into the greased loaf pan and spread it evenly.



7. Bake: Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.



8. Cool and serve: Allow the bread to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and enjoy!
