Ingredients:


1 lb (450g) ground beef (or turkey, if preferred)


1 small onion, chopped


1 packet (1 oz) taco seasoning (or homemade taco seasoning)


1 cup beef broth (or water)


1 cup tomato sauce


1/2 cup sour cream


2 cups shredded cheddar cheese


2 cups crushed tortilla chips (for the crunch)


2 cups elbow macaroni (or any pasta of your choice)


Salt and pepper to taste


Optional toppings: chopped cilantro, sliced jalapeños, diced tomatoes, or green onions



Instructions:


1. Cook the Ground Beef:


In a large skillet or pan, cook the ground beef over medium heat, breaking it apart with a spatula, until browned (about 5-7 minutes).


Drain any excess fat if needed, then add the chopped onion and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the onion becomes tender.



2. Season the Meat:
