A Pumpkin Bundt Cake is a perfect choice for a fall-inspired baby shower—warm, comforting, and festive! Here’s a recipe that’s both delicious and visually stunning for your event:

---

Ingredients

For the Cake:

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 1/2 tsp baking powder

1 tsp baking soda

1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

1/2 tsp ground nutmeg

1/2 tsp ground ginger

1/4 tsp ground cloves

1/2 tsp salt

1 cup pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling)

3/4 cup vegetable oil

1 1/2 cups granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/4 cup buttermilk or milk

1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

For the Cream Cheese Glaze:

4 oz cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 cups powdered sugar

1-2 tbsp milk (for desired consistency)

---

Instructions

1. Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 10-inch Bundt pan, making sure to coat all the crevices.

---

2. Prepare the Cake Batter

1. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves, and salt.

2. In a large bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, oil, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.

3. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients in batches, alternating with the buttermilk, and mix until just combined.

4. Gently fold in the chopped nuts (if using).

---

3. Bake the Cake

Pour the batter into the prepared Bundt pan and spread it evenly.

Bake for 45-55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then invert onto a wire rack to cool completely.

---

4. Make the Cream Cheese Glaze

1. In a medium bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.

2. Gradually add the powdered sugar and beat until fluffy.

3. Add milk a little at a time until you reach a pourable consistency for the glaze.

---

5. Glaze the Cake

Once the cake is completely cooled, drizzle the cream cheese glaze over the Bundt cake, allowing it to cascade down the sides for a beautiful effect.

---

Serve

Slice and serve at the baby shower as a delightful, seasonal treat! This cake pairs wonderfully with tea, coffee, or a festive punch. You
